to in personally fixing my entire software and hardware crisis. Without
your help I most certainly would be spending a lot more time and money

started when my P.C., which I purchased from another company just gave
up on me, after only 2 years. I took my unit to Rod and we decided on
a total rebuild; C.D. burner , the works. I found Rod and his staff extremly
friendy, easy to approach and most of all, they keep their cost to the
customer as low as possible. My wife and I both use the computer for work
so it has to perform right first time, every time. I have had my system
running now for 6 weeks and it is brilliant in it's performance, and thanks
to Rod, it is running extremley fast. I highly recommend Rod and his staff
at P.C. Fever for any computer problems, even give them a call on the
phone, as they are a wealth of knowledge and experience. One thing I found
with Rod and his staff is that they make you feel welcome, and tell very

All too good to be true !! But the most unbelievable line was "He's really funny".I mean how many computer heads do you know that really are funny? All exaggerations, I thought. Being in business for a fair few years has taught me not to trust people until I have evaluated them for myself. So I visited Rod in his workshop with intentions to receive a quote to fix the computer. Three hours of laughter and pay-outs later, I was still in the same situation (waiting for a quotation to fix the computer) but for some reason it didn't matter. After completion , I received the computer in better condition than it was when I had originally purchased it. You could really see that it was a Pentium ll 450. So this brings me to tell you about my evaluation. ( A ) Yes - I do consider Rod to be on my list of one of the best people that I've met in my time . ( B ) Yes - I do agree that Rod is good at what he does ( though it doesn't mean that computers has anything to do with it ) ( C ) No - he wont rip you off, and I mean that with all my heart. ( D ) Yes - he will help with technical advice to his best ability, but he does need his sleep just like the rest of us. ( E ) I still don't know of any computer heads that are really funny . Rod is just a really funny guy that tries to be a computer head. This is his only flaw. Rod did a complete overhaul of both my hardware and software, ensuring that everything was Y2K compliant. He did this at the most competitive price and at after hours so that the running of the business was not affected. In addition, unlike previous upgrades of the computer system, there were no hiccups. That is to say past upgrades by other computer people always had problems whereby the computers continually crashed for weeks and weeks afterwards. When Rod did the upgrade in July 1999 there were no crashes by the computer and there have been none to date. When upgrading your hardware or software I recommend that you should consider Rod. One each for our two children, one for my novice husband and one for me. Our lives will never be the same and not just because we met Rod. We not only use computers for our personal needs and satisfaction but they also run our business, which has been in operation for 9 years. Rod's computer systems are very impressive and has changed my opinion about computers forever. Our previous systems constantly went from one fault to the next and became a real chore in itself and detracted from getting on with business. Now, I get great joy from working at my computer. "User friendly" was a word I could never identify with, but Rod has built our systems with such care and devotion that I'm sure they have personalities. I think Rod does too but I will tell him one day that they are only machines. Our family highly recommend Rod Stern for all and any computer needs. He is reliable, honest, funny, knows his stuff, his rates are reasonable and you get what you pay for and he is great to have in your home, as long as you have a well stocked pantry. When I received my computer, I had to load all the software and drivers my self. No end of trouble was experienced trying to do this because I had never even owned a computer before. So as you could imagine, I didn't install a lot of things properly and thus this slowed my computer down considerably. Only after being fed up with it did I get in touch with PC Fever. I took it in that night and the next morning my whole system was silky smooth and 3 times as fast! The correct driver was installed for the monitor, (the one from the box was about 2 editions out of date) and It was even set up for me to surf the net! I was kicking my self that I didn't go to PC Fever earlier. Since then, I have purchased another computer (desktop), which is easily, the fastest computer I have ever seen, (Naturally I bought it from PC Fever this time!). It was set up in my house, and I have never looked back. And since then, I have not experienced any problems.
